Despite the challenges this year has brought us, we are excited to be moving into the Holiday season. We encourage you to reflect with thankfulness on the difficult trial of this year and how God is using it to help us to look more like Him. We want to share with you some important information on our plans heading into the Christmas season.
Sunday Services: We plan to continue our 9:30 Discipleship Training Class and 10:30 Service at both locations unless Tuscarawas or Holmes County reach level 4 “Purple” for coronavirus spread. At that point, we would shift to online only until the spread would go back to level 3 “Red”. We are hopeful that the cases start to decrease and that we will stay “red” or lower.
Christmas Party: Our church Christmas party is on Sunday, December 6th from 5:00-7:00pm at our Baltic location. Dinner will be provided along with a hot chocolate bar. Activities will be available for kids and the gift exchange for 6th grade through adults. Bring a dessert or a side along with a $5-$10 gift for the exchange.
Christmas Services: Our Sunday morning Christmas service will be on December 20th. We will be holding a Christmas Eve service on December 24th at 6:00pm at our Baltic location. This will be an intimate service reflecting on the coming of Jesus and we will be taking communion together. We will also be releasing a series of videos the week of Christmas as a tool for you and your family to celebrate Christmas in your homes.
Annual Meeting Forum: On Wednesday evening December 9th, we will be holding our annual meeting at our Baltic location. You are welcome to attend in person or watch our live-stream. We will be sharing an overview of who we are as a church that will allow some of our new attenders and members to get to know us a bit more. Following this will be the proposal of our 2021 budget and a vote to approve by our members. There will be an opportunity to ask questions in person or online.
