Dear The Branch Church
These past few days, God has laid it on my heart to write you. As I think about you all, I thank God for you. Often times I am overwhelmed by your faithfulness, your love and your kindness. You have been faithful in so many things and as I sit back and think about that, I lift you up to the God of heaven and ask Him to continue to move your hearts towards love and good deeds.
I know sometimes as I preach, I feel that my love and joy for you may not always come across. However I know that God has placed me with you because of your continued desire to do all that God has called you too. I am honored to called The Branch Church my church because of you. You have shown me what a heart of love, generosity, faithfulness and kindness are all about. Often times you go above and beyond to serve one another, give your time, talent and resources to meet the needs of our church community.
I could think of no other church that I have loved so dearly and needed so much. My heart is for you and my prayers are always of you. I am forever and will always be indebted to you, as you have accepted me, loved me, encouraged me, prayed for me and supported me not only as your pastor, but as a friend and a brother in Christ.
My heart when I preach to you is to continue to see you love God and each other more and more. I never want you to settle, but to always be growing towards a deeper love and commitment to seeing the kingdom of God be active in our lives, both here and now.
If my words have ever felt unloving or unkind to you for that I am truly sorry. From the depths of my heart I ask your forgiveness. I truly have you in my heart and have asked God to allow me to walk this journey called life with you, until He returns or calls me home. Thank you for allowing me to serve you, to love you and be loved by you, and to be called your friend.
Yours in Christ
